Bed bugs and fleas need different conversations
Bed bug loads use our bed bug laundry service. Flea problems usually involve pets and the home, and flea-affected textiles are assessed by enquiry because we do not offer a separate flea booking option. In both cases the property, and any pet, need separate treatment.
Coordination checklist
- Confirm the pest identification and treatment plan with your contractor.
- Name an incident lead and brief every shift with the same plan.
- Talk to the resident: what will be collected, why, and what they will keep.
- Bag textiles in the room and seal the bags; record the count.
- Set aside dry-clean-only and treasured items for assessment.
- Plan where clean items will be stored until the room is ready.
Protecting neighbouring rooms
Follow your pest control provider's advice on neighbouring rooms. Avoid moving loose bedding through corridors, and never leave open bags in communal areas.
