Why pet laundry is done separately

Pet hair, dander and odour can transfer between loads and clog domestic machines. We process pet items in our separate specialist facility so they never share a wash with other customers' clothes.

Where the fabric allows, items are washed at 60°C with specialist detergents and an oxygen-releasing additive to help lift organic pet odour. We can't promise every odour will be fully removed — very old or deeply set smells may reduce rather than disappear.

Pet beds: check the care label

Many pet beds have a removable, washable cover; some have foam or stuffed inners that can't be machine washed. Send covers and washable beds by weight. If you're unsure, send a photo of the care label with your booking note and we'll tell you before washing. We don't charge a fixed fee for every pet bed because sizes and fillings vary so much.

Our process

  1. Book online Choose the matching group in the Specialist Laundry Treatment section of our booking, pick a collection slot and pay securely. No assessment form.
  2. Sealed collection Bag items as advised below. Our driver collects the sealed bags as they are — they are not opened at your door.
  3. Separate specialist facility Specialist orders are processed in our separate in-house specialist laundry facility, apart from everyday customer laundry.
  4. Inspection and care labels Items are checked in stages. We read care labels and set aside anything that could be damaged by the treatment, and tell you before going further.
  5. Controlled washing Where the fabric allows, we wash at 60°C with specialist detergents and an oxygen-releasing additive. Fabrics that cannot take 60°C are washed at the highest temperature their label permits.
  6. Fabric-adjusted drying Items are tumble dried with temperatures adjusted to each fabric, then inspected again.
  7. Packed and returned Clean items are folded, packed and returned in your delivery slot — typically within 2 days, subject to available slots.

Questions

Can you wash my dog's bed?

If the care label allows machine washing, yes. Removable covers are the most common. Foam or non-washable inners can't go through the machine — send a label photo if you're unsure.

How is pet laundry priced?

Weight-based at £5.29/kg with a 10 kg minimum charge of £52.90. Blankets are £36.96 each, cushion covers and bath towels £5.61, hand or face towels £4.95.

Will it remove all the smell?

Specialist detergents and an oxygen-releasing additive help lift organic odours, and most items come back fresh. We don't guarantee 100% odour removal on deeply set smells.

Is pet laundry washed with other people's clothes?

No. Pet items are processed separately in our specialist facility.

Do you work with vets, groomers and kennels?

Yes. Vets, groomers, kennels, dog day-care, pet hotels and pet-friendly short lets can send a business enquiry and we'll arrange regular collections across London.

Is collection and delivery included?

Yes — collection and delivery are free; you pay for the laundry by weight or item.
