Explore UK specialist careCheck the label on the filled item, not only its removable cover. A washable pillowcase does not make the pillow washable, and a cushion cover's instructions do not apply automatically to foam or feather filling. Keep removable covers separate when instructed and identify damaged seams or leaking filling before collection.
Bulky items are priced individually outside the specialist weight allowance. Confirm what can be accepted before counting a duvet or pillow as ordinary bag-weight laundry. Mattresses, sofas and fixed upholstery are not part of the laundry collection service.
A garment that can be washed at a low temperature may not tolerate the heat stage considered for affected textiles. We inspect the care instructions and assess the item rather than promising the same result from any wash. Missing labels, decorative trims and mixed materials may require a discussion or refusal.
Research on tested laundry conditions does not establish a guarantee for every household appliance, textile or specialist process. We do not prescribe an improvised heat protocol or claim that normal dry cleaning always eliminates all bedbugs and eggs.
Seal delicate and dry-clean-only garments separately and disclose the suspected infestation before handover. Describe the material and care instructions. A suitable specialist dry-cleaning method must be agreed; do not silently include affected garments in an everyday dry-cleaning order.
For smoke, pet odour or incontinence loads, explain the actual issue so the correct specialist service is considered. Unknown chemical contamination, sharps and clinical waste are not accepted. Textile care is not property pest control or medical decontamination.
