Tell us about washable sheets, pillowcases, towels and clothing so the right specialist load can be arranged. Check waterproof mattress protectors separately: the backing may limit wash temperature and drying. Filled bedding and bulky items require individual suitability and price confirmation outside the weight allowance.
Incontinence loads are handled separately from everyday laundry. Suitable fabrics are washed at 60°C where the care label permits, with specialist detergents and oxygen-releasing additives where suited, then inspected and dried according to the fabric. Do not override a lower-temperature label or include dry-clean-only clothing in a wash load.
Do not shake soiled linen. Remove disposable pads and any non-textile waste before packing; keep soiled textiles separate, close bags securely and avoid overfilling. Identify delicate or waterproof items separately so they can be assessed before processing.
Use an agreed bag reference and record bag counts. Do not write diagnoses, resident histories or unnecessary personal details on bags or enquiry forms. We accept suitable textiles, not sharps, clinical waste or unknown chemical contamination; laundry is not medical decontamination or infection-control advice.
For supported living or a home-care agency, agree one booking contact, collection addresses, access arrangements and a clean-return contact. Keep spare linen in the home while items are away. Regular schedules, multi-site work and invoicing need an agreed arrangement rather than an assumed subscription or an invented business tariff.

Can you wash waterproof mattress protectors?Suitability depends on the whole item's care label and waterproof backing. Keep protectors separate and describe them before collection. They are individually priced outside the weight allowance; do not assume they can take a 60°C wash or hot tumble drying.
Do you offer ordinary laundry here?No. Outside London, MyLaundress offers specialist laundry and suitable affected-garment assessment only. Ordinary laundry and everyday dry cleaning remain London services.
Does this service provide medical decontamination?No. We care for suitable washable textiles and do not claim sterilisation, medical decontamination, CQC performance or guaranteed complete stain or odour removal. Clinical waste, sharps and disposable pads are not accepted.
Does a next-day delivery option guarantee a one-day treatment?No. Booking options are not a processing promise. Collection, return timing, partner arrangements and garment suitability must be confirmed; do not assume a next-day national return, same-day collection or a fixed urgent response.
